OUR PHILOSOPHY

At Santa Clara Sporting Club, we don't develop good players—we forge champions with integrity who compete in Nor Cal Premier League, ECNL RL, and national tournaments. Our competitive program demands technical precision, tactical intelligence, and mental fortitude while developing responsible, hardworking athletes with exceptional work ethic who refuse to settle for anything less than their maximum potential. This is elite youth soccer development where champions of character are made.

Ages 13 & Older: Advanced Training

  • The Elite Clubs National League Regional League (ECNL RL) is the regional competitive platform within the ECNL ecosystem, designed to provide ambitious players with a high-level environment and a connected pathway for long-term development and competition.

    The Elite Clubs National League (ECNL) was founded in 2009 as America’s premier youth soccer league. Originally created for girls and expanded to include boys in 2017, ECNL has become one of the most recognized and respected platforms in youth soccer. Santa Clara Sporting is proud to compete within the ECNL pathway through participation in ECNL RL.

    ECNL’s mission is to “Raise the Game” by transforming youth sports through grassroots collaboration and club-driven innovation. This approach has created expanded opportunities for players to advance to collegiate, professional, and national team levels.

    The league is built on six core values:

    Leadership — Youth soccer guided by experienced leaders who understand player development.
    Service — Supporting clubs, coaches, and players as the foundation of long-term success.
    Collaboration — Creating stronger environments through shared vision and partnership.
    Competition — Building performance-driven pathways that challenge players and teams to improve.
    Innovation — Combining elite competition with resources for player, coach, and club development.
    Aspiration — Upholding high standards that inspire achievement and excellence.

Ages 12 & Under: Foundational Program

  • Nor Cal Premier League was founded with a clear purpose: to ignite a lifelong passion for soccer across the community. The league has grown to become a driving force in soccer development, elevating the game by nurturing players, clubs, coaches, and referees at every level.

    Nor Cal Premier League's mission is to "Elevate Soccer" by creating meaningful opportunities for growth and development throughout the soccer ecosystem. This comprehensive approach has helped countless individuals reach their potential and advance their soccer journey.

    The organization operates on seven core values:
