Scholarship Program

The Santa Clara Sporting Club continue with their Sporting Scholarship Program created to award student athletes that exhibit academic excellence, community leadership and the ability to make-a-difference on and off the soccer field. Santa Clara Sporting will award $18,000 in scholarship funds every year to six college-bound high school students chosen from within the club. Over 200 Santa Clara Sporting soccer players have graduated to play collegiate soccer in just the last four years, and the club is committed to building an even stronger college recruitment program for the future.

  • Sporting Scholarship Application Requirements - player must be in good financial standing with team, scholarship application must be completed and submitted on time, and player must be rostered in the club for a minimum of five years.
  • 2023 Scholarship Deadline - applications are due on or before May 31, 2023.
  • 2023 Scholarship Award Notification - award notification letters will be sent on June 15, 2023.
  • Scholarship Payment - checks will be issued after selection and after confirmation of college registration.

The Santa Clara Sporting College Recruitment Program provides soccer players with a competitive advantage:

  • Championship Coaching Staff - Santa Clara Sporting develops top-level soccer players through elite-level coaches. Santa Clara Sporting soccer players build soccer skills and a winning attitude through our coaches and elite competition.
  • Sporting Academic Scholarship - financial scholarships available to reward Sporting players that exhibit an excellence in the classroom, in their community and on the soccer field.
