Congratulations to the Santa Clara Sporting ’99 Girls Green Team for finishing 2nd overall as Finalists in the Girls U10 2009-10 CYSA Cal-North State Cup Tournament last weekend on December 20th. The girls went undefeated during bracket play with a 1-0 win over the Central Valley Crossfire White Team, then beat the Central Valley Crossfire Red Team 2-0, and finished with a 2-2 tie against the Redwood PASC Blue Thunder Team.  Sporting beat the MVLA Monsoon Blue Team 4-3 in an exciting Semi-Final match, then lost a tight battle to the Central Valley Crossfire Red Team 1-2 in the Finals. Congratulations to all the players, coaches and their families!
