All Santa Clara Sporting Teams play under the Santa Clara Youth Soccer League, and ALL players trying-out must have proper insurance coverage. If a player trying-out for a team is currently registered with anther CYSA Team during the current playing season, that player has proper CYSA insurance coverage. However, if the player is not currently registered with a CYSA Team, the coach is responsible to have the player and parent sign the CYSA Form 1601 – and write “Tryout” on the top of the form. Download CYSA Form 1601 and bring to the tryout.
Santa Clara Sporting ’03 (U8)
Santa Clara Sporting is forming a new Competitive level u8 girls team. We are looking for highly skilled player and good athletes that are interested in playing soccer at the competitive level. Players for the team need to have been born after August 1st 2003. Tryouts for the team will be held on Saturday the 21st of January from 9am to 10:30am, Friday the 27 th of January from 4pm to 5:30pm and Saturday the 28th of January from 9am to 10:30am. All tryouts will be at Curtis Field, 890 Pomeroy Ave, Santa Clara. The team will be a year round competitive soccer team that will be coached by a professional coach (John Slegg) who has years of experience working with high level teams and has coached several players that have gone on to play at the college level. The Sporting ’02 girls team is holding tryouts on December 5th and 7th and January 9th and 11th. All tryouts will be at Central Park from 4pm to 5:30pm. Santa Clara Sporting 01Girls Green team is looking for advanced, highly motivated, and committed soccer players (born August 1st 2001 to July 31st 2002) to try-out for a competitive youth soccer team. Tryouts will be held January 7th and 8th 2012 from 9:00am-11:00am at Curtis Fields. The purpose of our team is to provide great people through soccer. We promote hard work, focus, and teamwork as the method of achieving our goals. We will provide a structure in which players will learn to be technically proficient and learn to think creatively and independently. The goal’s of our team are to develop as a cohesive and committed team, develop great technical skills, and be a top competitive team.
