All Santa Clara Sporting Teams play under the Santa Clara Youth Soccer League, and ALL players trying-out must have proper insurance coverage. If a player trying-out for a team is currently registered with anther CYSA Team during the current playing season, that player has proper CYSA insurance coverage. However, if the player is not currently registered with a CYSA Team, the coach is responsible to have the player and parent sign the CYSA Form 1601 – and write “Tryout” on the top of the form. Download CYSA Form 1601 and bring to the tryout.
Santa Clara Sporting ‘03 Boys U8 Team
The Santa Clara Sporting 03 Boys U8 (U9 Fall 2012) team is holding tryouts for players interested in being developed and then competing at a high level. Prospective players can attend our tryouts with players being born between 8/1/03 to 7/31/04. Tryouts are Saturday 17th December from 2-4pm at Sutter Elementary School in Santa Clara and Friday 6th January 2012 from 4-5:30pm at Sutter Elementary School in Santa Clara. Santa Clara Sporting ‘02 Boys U9 Team
The Santa Clara Sporting Team ’02 U9 boys team will hold an open tryout this Saturday, December 3rd from 9:30-11:30a at Curtis School (890 Pomeroy, Ave., Santa Clara). The team had a very successful Fall and I look forward to continuing their development through the Spring season. Wewill be forming two teams to play in the CYSA District 2 Spring League(Green & White). Teams play soccer year round in the Spring andFall Seasons. We also play futsal (indoor) in the Winter Season. Ournormal schedule is 2 practices (2 hours long) per week and a game onthe weekend (occasionally 2) during the season. All of our tournamentswill be in Northern California, (most within 45 miles of SantaClara). The Santa Clara Sporting 01B Black team is looking for players interested in competing at a higher level. We are holding tryouts for the 2012 Winter/Spring Season. Players must be born between 8/1/2001 and 7/31/2002.
